@jmkac has some amazing exhibitions up ... Mary Nohl "Feminists of the 1970s famously introduced the adage "The personal is political" into our common thinking. It is important to understand that Mary Nohl and her commitment to being an artist contain a political component. The decisions Nohl made to set up her life the way she did must have been difficult, involving personal sacrifice and knowledge of the possible pain involved in bucking social norms. We know she paid a price in her reputation, her sense of personal safety, and damage to her work by her own neighbors and community." Catherine J. Morris, Curator
@eyekati made this killer Wolfbat banner for the Serpent of Sheboygan conjuring happening tomorrow @jmkac ..... she's more talented w this stuff than I am
Here's a banner I worked in between helping with banner and mask making workshops @jmkac and coordinated by @ccallt .... the really awesome thing about these workshops is that it brings all the ages and life backgrounds into a setting to just to be creative and nothing more. Something that is rad about using prints is that I have a library of images, patterns, etc... that I can print, bring and then watch how other people would use my woodcut collage material or provide a cache of graphics to start with.
Lots of parade banners being made @jmkac for Thursday's ceremony w the Serpent of Sheboygan...
The Serpent of Sheboygan has made its way to @jmkac ....
This prints will be available @jonathanlevineprojects this Saturday for the group show "multiples of multiples" you can get amazing frame work done @flyingpigpictureframes and if you want this killer snakeskin frame, it's very limited ... edition size 40, 3 color silkscreen, on archival paper, signed and numbered
Ok... I'm heading out to finish to tale of the Serpent of Sheboygan @jmkac this week... workshops leading up to Thursday where she'll be paraded and w ceremony. AFTER that, either it finds a home or burns. SO.. I'm putting it out in the universe one more time. Any home ideas? It would need to be picked up in Sheboygan, it won't last forever outside and it's 26ft longish so flatbed trailer?
Seeing this one burn bothered me more than some others. Maybe because I wasn't there to do it right w ceremony. The Serpent of Sheboygan story is too long to post the whole thing on here, but if you want to know it dm me. The residency w @jmkac was excellent.
This Autumn Queen is available @paradigmgs ... I made this and kinda forgot about it... anyway... this one and a few more have been added to their inventory :)
Killer @mrjeremyfish show up at @jonathanlevineprojects ... I suggest seeing these pieces in person ... they are masterfully done ... and Aside from being talented, Jeremy is an awesome person.
Tomorrow night @jonathanlevineprojects I'll have these 7 sculpture multiples and a limited screen print in a group show along with prints and editioned work by

Two of the deities have already been called forth... the robin spirit has come from the east w fire and seagull from the north with air... @jmkac
This healing machine is amazing. Emery Blagdon (1907-1986) built an increasingly dense environment in rural Nebraska from baking wire, aluminum foil, light bulbs, salts and other organic matter. Impacted by personal tragedy, Blagdon worked for nearly 30 years on this constantly changing installation, he called "The Healing Machine" designed to channel the earths energies to alleviate pain and illness. @jmkac
Here's another piece for the Multiples of Multiples show @jonathanlevineprojects June 24th ... this is a multiple of 7 cast acrylic resin sculptures, mounted on a wood base and covered in woodcut print patterns. Each varies in color, pattern and wood mount.
It seems the Serpent of Sheboygan is getting closer to shore .... @jmkac ... join us next Thursday to meet this ancient giant and hear her ancient wisdom
Apparently there have been recent sightings of the Serpent of Sheboygan in Lake Michigan ... the Wolfbat tribe will be returning to the @jmkac next week to conjure the Serpent and gather ancient knowledge it has carried for millennia ....
New Wolfbat stickers in from @stickerobot Don't Forget to Breathe :)
