‘Trollstigen’ Our new piece in Gol, Norway 🇳🇴 •
'They come in all shapes and sizes. Trolls, Beings from Norse mythology and Scandinavian folklore. Till this day they’re still being hunted by tourists, trying to get a glimpse of one of these creatures.'
Thanks to @awsomerealness for the mountain safari!
Our latest mural in Perth, Australia 🇦🇺 called; 'Life of a story'. This particular area in Midland is where the railway workshops gave (heaps of) families an income for generations. A place with a lot of positive stories that will be passed on for decades to come.

The second installment of exhibitions Los Angeles’ Thinkspace Gallery has brought to the Museum to date, following the success of 'Invisible College' from 2015, both showcase new and exciting work from the steadily expanding New Contemporary Art Movement. A continuation of Thinkspace’s mutually reinforced mission to garner institutional exposure and recognition for New Contemporary Art, its history, founders, key players, and artists, the exhibitions celebrate the impact of its most enduring media platforms, Juxtapoz Magazine, and the work of one of its most iconic trailblazers. Now widely considered the largest and longest running art movement in history, the New Contemporary Art Movement encompasses everything from Street Art and Muralism to Pop Surrealism and Hyperrealism.
Featuring murals and installations from:
Cinta Vidal - Icy and Sot - Laurence Vallieres - Meggs

Article text by @sashabogojev for @juxtapozmag "Hit the Lights", the mural depicts a local guy holding a glowing plastic back and looking over his shoulder towards the illuminated street or the residential apartments. Mixing Telmo Miel's smoothly spray painted part with Velasco's raw painterly and textured sections, the image is wrapped within transparent strokes that further accent the surreal atmosphere. The same strokes are actually the borders between the two different visual languages, creating surreal feel within a mundane, realist image. Even though the main character is looking away and is carrying the symbol of the consumer society, the night time image still carries a positive vibe with warm lights glowing from the night store and the bag. Inspired by Metallica's classic, the artists created an image that perfectly fits the chosen title of the piece.
