A finished portion of another little experiment I made, finished this one some days ago but forgot to share. I'm getting ready for a mini solo show that will take place next month in Seattle with @davidsongalleries
More information and more artwork coming!! 👀🗡
Spoiling myself with this little drawing and feeling like leaving it all in the basic tracing!!!! Have always wanted to do only line based works but obsession always kicks in and end up rendering all to death. 😼✍🏻 guess this will be another little experiment it's a mistery yet to me how it will end up! 😵
Detail of a collage experiment I finally finished! This was something I wanted to try since long ago and left for many months.
It was fun and helped me as a re-assurance exercise of what I want to do.
Will soon share the final image in the meantime, moving on to another experiment and a yet another artwork more in the traditional 'me' style that I'm so excited to start with!!
While still fighting against myself to complete this drawing I just can't stop thinking in that new one I can't wait to start... Falling in love with ideas to later despise them...always happens 💔
Super happy to be finally sharing everything about my last piece 'When an inly woe gnaws' last month exhibited at @lastritesgallery but first planned to be the album cover for the Japanese breakneck buzzcore band @stormofvoid and their new album 'War Inside You'.
This is a drawing completely inspired by their music and how it was transformed into my head with images. I got into this duo's music so much that I instantly become a fan of them, so much quality and emotion in their track made easy for me to portray this image.
Official release of 'War Inside You' in September 20th 2017 via Hostess Entertainment.
Go now follow them, google them and listen. you won't regret it.
I don't even know what I feel about this drawing anymore, I just know that anxiety is building and my grinding teeth are suffering the consequences. I think I need a couple of days off.. 💀💀💀
Lazy morning and parts of drawings... This one is going to be a crazy one 💀😱
Close up details from my effigy of coiled tragedies.
Amid all the frequent turmoil of violent disasters and cynical abuses of power and corruption, it baffles me how puzzled people seems to be in such 'unexpected' events and I wonder if we conveniently suffer amnesia, as conflict and abuse has described our past and will trace the future of us warlike self-destructive creatures.
Humanity has never transcended history through kindness but only through blood written stories of 'victory' and coiled tragedies.
We are indeed silly animals, and as long as those few critical minds keep suppressing themselves to that tyrant majority we'll keep walking in circles and doomed to witness endlessly the peak and decay of our cultures. ⚜️ Below this train of thought I made this little one titled 'Effigy of coiled tragedies'
To be exhibited on the 13th Hour group show at @lastritesgallery
On October 28th.
Cropped detail of this drawing almost reaching completion, so many textures I've been able to satisfy my obsessive needs to death everyday. Only few more days 🗿
Thank you so much to everyone who has attended 'Body Puzzle' at Davidson Galleries and have tagged me on their photos.
Please keep them coming! I really enjoy reading and knowing your thoughts about the show.
The show will run until October 28th, so there's still plenty of time to visit all three exhibitions.
Wishing you all a nice Monday 👋🏼
This strange one is slowly reaching it's completion and so far I think this is the most enjoyable one in the year, in such level that I'm even getting possessive and feeling reluctant to share anything about it at all haha, but here I am.
Two weeks, more days and the baby it's finished 🗿☠️
This is a larger portion of one of my latests works titled 'In the name of progress' which is part of 'Body Puzzle': a small solo show I'm having with the folks of @davidsongalleries next October 5th in Seattle.
I'm Very excited to showcase my work in their beautiful space and honored to be showing this series along some fantastic Goya's Caprichos and War Disasters engravings (Goya is my god fyi).
It is in a funny and curious way, that this series of mine is also kind of a personal whim.
Hope some of you can make it to the opening!
Small detail of something I've been working on the past weeks and gouging my eyes out with details.. oh! But so rewarding to see how things are coming out almost like the way you want them!
This is a larger drawing than the usual and can't wait to share more about it! ☠️👀🥄
Cropped detail from 'When an inly woe gnaws', part of 'Dark in Nature' group show opening TODAY at @lastritesgallery

Issue 4 of @theguideartists is here! And guess who is on the cover!! 🙊
I'm super proud to be sharing with you all the latest Issue of the newest art platform/magazine of my friends from The Guide Artists.
I have a lot of faith in this project as I've personally experienced the professionalism, passion and hard work these guys pour into promoting new and stablished artists with the world.
This is a place that really wants to show how wide and diverse the artworld actually IS and for FREE.
So I'm feeling honored to be featured as the cover as well in the inside with the most in-depth interview I've made so far.
Also humbled to be featured along art heroes like @r0drigocifuentes @pammyw222 and @robertoferri_italianpainter as well as many many more!!

Metallic shine of the graphite in this 5x5 cm section of what I'm working on. Light is so bright you can actually see the paper's fibers!!
Mexico is a burning hell, hope you all have chillier afternoons than I 😵🔥
I revived today from my cave just to share with you the last Issue of my friends of @theguideartists Where I have the joy to ad myself once again just after the great cover of @guillermolorcagarcia . This issue has also a wonderful interview of him, which I consider part of the top artist in Latin America
Remember that the issue is free to download so don't miss this issue and check out in full zoom all the beautiful artworks.
A very pleasant surprise is coming for the next Issue, so if you like my work look forward next month!
Still working on my secret commissions and secret oil paintings, but I remembered there's been a year already from my first USA solo show.
All this time has been a huge learning experience to me, techically, professionally and personally speaking.
This is one of the works I've enjoyed the most and one of the very very few I actually feel proud of. 'Vida Rota'
STILL available for purchase, if interested be sure to reach Thinkspace Gallery @thinkspace_art
