It's hard to believe it's already been 3 years since "Provenance" was finished! This went viral once after someone made a flashing gif of her, but didn't credit me in the image. I still get messages regularly on it showing up somewhere without it crediting me (thank you!), so it's a huge missed opportunity. Who knows what kind of cool jobs or opportunities could've come from that? Always credit artists! With sites like tineye that do reverse image search, there's no excuse. 👍🌈
Hey artists! The @kevinworkmanfoundation is accepting applications for their SDCC sponsored artist for 2018! Check out my blog post on my incredible experience as their 2017 scholarship recipient and get your application in by January 15th! Link is in my profile.
Fabric pouches are here! I have only a few left of each design. Every pouch comes with two exclusive 3" stickers with my artwork on them too! These are great for carrying art supplies (there's even an extra zippered compartment inside!), or makeup, or really anything you can think of! Grab one for yourself or as a gift at the link in my profile. ✨🎀
"Illusory" was created for @galleries1988 "Crazy 4 Cult 7" show in NYC. This piece is inspired by the film "Pan's Labyrinth" directed and written by Guillermo del Toro.
"Illusory" is available as an open edition print. There is also one ✨shiny✨ resin print still available! .
🔥My latest piece, "Phoenix," is available from @everydayorig today. I began the piece several weeks back at the Fantastic Workshop as part of my demo, initially inspired by the changing leaves. However, as I went to complete it yesterday, I had the southern California fires on my mind, as my best friend from high school just lost her new home in Sylmar. Additionally, my grandmother's home is just blocks away from the fire in Ventura. The piece took a turn, and now she's a Phoenix, changed forever by the flames and rising from the ashes and embers. My dear friend who lost her home has a gofundme, which I've linked in my post today on everydayoriginal.com. I'm hoping to help make up for all the art she's lost (including 2 originals of mine) when she and her husband are ready. I can't begin to imagine that kind of devastation. 😥
I was going to take some preview photos of my piece for @everydayorig tomorrow, but Marzipan got in the way and I just can't tell her no. So this is what you get. (Then she fell asleep in my latest IG story!)
