Surprise! Here's a time-lapse video of my recent piece, "Anoxia," created for @everydayorig and still available! 🎶: @lullatone
(Swipe! 👀) A little belated, but I'm happy to present the 5th suit in my Hanafuda deck project: "Ayame," representing the month of May with the water iris.
Very special thanks go out to my supporters on Patreon! I could not work on this project without you!
So, I ended up spending almost 30 hours in airport purgatory and finally got home Tuesday evening. The experience was so draining, I needed to spend all of yesterday recovering. If you're waiting on prints, an email reply, or anything else from me, I will *finally* be able to take care of that today and tomorrow. To hold y'all over, here's Marzipan harassing me last night for taking a very long, hot bubble bath instead of giving her attention. 😽
What a week! The IMC was utterly amazing. Now if I could just get home! Storms on the east coast cancelled my flight home yesterday afternoon with no overnight hotel comp, then my rescheduled flight very early this morning was delayed so much that I missed my connecting flight to Nashville by 5 minutes. Now I'm stuck at Chicago midway waiting on standby for another flight. I'm so homesick and so very exhausted. Please send good vibes my way! I just want to get home to my bed. 😩😵😭(photo by Jada Rowland)
It's open studio day at IMC! If you're near Amherst, Massachusetts, come on by between 3-5pm! We're in the Faywerweather building. For those unable to make it, I will be writing a blog post on my experience when my piece is done, hopefully in a few weeks!
IMC update: I have a plan! I took a note out of @jawcooper's process and color picked from my finalized color study (which had @dsillustration's input!) and then wrote instructions on how to start tackling this beast of a painting after transferring the final sketch. 😳
