Theres a sense of childish excitement about this painting. @gregbonniot loved riding his John Deere across the land in Burgundy, even though it got him into a bit of trouble..
For me, this tractor represents in a less than literal sense a vehicle. A tool to maintain and design change or sustainability.

'Chien Lunatique' is the first painting I started working on for my debut Paris solo exhibition AGAIN NEVER AGAIN. It started as an introspective piece. A remedial painting addressing and processing past demons and experiences. The body of work transitioned into something much lighter and uplifting during my artist residency in Burgundy, France. I like to think of this painting as an important pivotal piece in what is a much more personal and intimate approach compared to previous series.
On view at @galerie42b in Paris until Nov 18.
'California Madonna' is a cynical take on a classic Pieta. It shows the Mary and her child separated and distorted in a way to depict a sense of autonomy and detachment from our moral guidances. As if the Savior wants to say: 'Its ok mom, I got this'. The figures have become subject to demoralization. They have been defaced with graffiti and cracks appear in the marble.
This painting is currently on view at my solo exhibition AGAIN NEVER AGAIN at @galerie42b in Paris until Nov 18.
