For those that asked, here’s some context for my previous post:
There was a time when I painted rock star portraits and my Bowie and Lennon ‘diptych’ was one of my favourites. There was a connection between the 2 artists that I never knew about: Bowie’s song ‘Fame’ was co-written with Lennon after a chance meeting at a recording studio in New York. ‘Bully For Me’ and ‘Chilly For You’ were titled from lyrics to the song, with those lyrics written on the reverse of each piece. Both frames were coloured according to the artwork also. I was so glad they were bought by the same person... and maybe that buyer doesn’t know that the lyrics are on the reverse until now 🙀🙀🙀. Swipe left for artwork images.
with a present-day twist. This hilarious photo by the awesome @nikakramer of me and @kevinledo after completion of our collab mural in Wynwood a couple of years ago. The mural has been featured (along with tons of other Miami murals) in a kids colouring book that finally gets it’s release this month 😁😁😁
Nice feature for myself, @r_o_n_e and @fintan_magee in @ushuaiaibiza magazine. The eagle-eyed among you might notice a pic of a certain rooftop mural that is soon to be revealed in all it’s glory with a ‘making of’ video/documentary 🙀🙀🙀.
Managed to get in a few hours on another new wood piece (featuring model/muse @alazay_official) before getting myself set for a trip to @graffitiprints in Newcastle tomorrow to sign, hand-finish and other shiz on something special coming soon 🙀.
