Heartbreaking to see the rise of homeless people in London over the past few years and especially so in this cold weather xx

This is a painting I did last year called “Compass”, oil on aluminium panel, 180 by 150cm. The painting became a turning point for me in terms of an idea I had for some new things I’m now working on. Since I made this painting I’ve been to Greece to meet some refugee mothers and hear their incredible stories which are both heartbreaking and life affirming xx
