I finished up this mystic dachshund commission painting this week, an ode to the client’s sweet dog who passed away
A throw back to this tattoo design I was commissioned to paint last year, a symbolically meaningful piece to the client that I had a lovely time creating
As promised here’s a little time lapse video of my process inking in and doing base watercolor washes on this mutant pirate cat 🖤
I’m inking in this three eyed pup commission, once I’ve got all the inking complete I’ll start on watercolor washes for color
A detail shot of my graphite sketch for this new commission piece. The full piece is 12” by 18”, I’ll try and film a time lapse video of my inking process on this one!
The past, the present, the future, we can only look so many ways at once, only live in so many moments. This piece was created for the @prismacollective show “Achromatic” at @archenemyarts gallery in Philly! The original painting is available for sale through the gallery
I’m making progress on this little magic pirate cat piece today
This was one of my favorite album covers to paint, a 12” by 12” piece in watercolor, acrylic, and pen & ink on cold press watercolor paper. It was created for a band called Evergreen Terrace, their album Dead Horses.
I had a great time with the colors on this piece I created last year for a show at @archenemyarts the original painting is still available for sale with the gallery www.archenemyarts.com
I’m finishing up this book cover illustration commission for my author friend @kendranamednil 🖤
I’m sketching out a new mystic mutant pup commission piece today. For a look into my process: I start with a rough graphite sketch like this, then I clean up the lines, ink over it in ballpoint pen, then do watercolor washes for color!
I’m working on some new commissions today so I’ll have some new posts and time lapse videos soon, but in the meantime here’s a throw back to this Secret if NIMH inspired painting I created last year!
