It's been 2 DAYS since I last spoke with my father. The agony of not knowing if they survived Hurricane María in the center of Puerto Rico is insane. My home is in the middle of the mountains, and it's the kind of situation where many things could've gone wrong. I am trying to be patient and stay positive, praying for that call or that message to know that they are ok. I am in Mexico at the moment, where a whole different tragedy also took place. The emotions are strong. Please keep Puerto Rico, Mexico and everyone who's suffering in your thoughts and never take anything or anyone for granted. 💔
You always look at me like I owe you an apology.
Puerto Rico prepares for this beast. To all my family and friends, please be safe, stay strong, be careful before, during and after the hurricane. And know that I have you all in my thoughts during these dark days. My heart is always with you.・・・

de ISS: Station external cameras captured dramatic views of Hurricane Maria as it churned through the Caribbean Sept. 19 as a category 5 storm, forecast to pass over the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico over the next 36 to 48 hours.
