The piko is the last part of the body connecting you to your mother. The curves and points of a woman's body have always reminded me of the abstract shapes I see in nature. My family, my heart, and my piko will always remind me where I came from. Hilo.

I was standing next to my surf shorts when I saw this girl standing her custom surf shorts. Without thinking twice I uttered the first thing that came to my mind, "Hey we're surf shorts neighbors, btw I'm Aaron™" after a brief conversation we exchanged contact info.
Yesterday I was lucky enough to spend the day with her talking about style, culture, and our humble beginnings in the art world. In addition to the awesome convo and Hawaiian-Japanese plate lunch, we exchanged drawings in each other's sketchbooks.
