Detail of a beautiful new @_fernbeds_ piece on view at @paradigmgs - part of her new No God For A Wanderer collection which opens tomorrow, Friday the 24th in unseasonably frigid Philadelphia, PA. Nicomi's recent graphite works have evolved into a refined state more resembling paintings than traditional drawings, soft forms interact seamlessly with shards of crystal-like detail in works rich with narrative and mystery. Those on the east coast of these United States would be rewarded in spades by viewing these works in person, for the geographically challenged among us - follow, follow, follow.
Working up some new identity for @bloodmilk in the wandering studio. The final hours of her Death and Taxes sale are upon us, the end is most certainly nigh. Most pieces from the exquisite and extensive Bloodmilk line are marked down in the shop, no coupons or codes required. Get thee to your cave and be amazed...
Thank you to everyone who entered my give-away, I'm completely humbled and honored to see so many of you interested in my work. Due to the overwhelming response, I decided to randomly pick two other folks as well, who will each get an ephemeral mystery package from my archives.
The randomly chosen winner of the Blood On the Leaves study is @specimenillustrations
The ephemera packs go to @coolhandken & @candicenails
If you are one of the three winners please send me a direct message with your mailing address and I'll get your packages shipped as soon as possible.
After choosing the winners I took some time to look through the entries and was thoroughly blown away by all the kind words and comments left as well as by how many amazing artists entered the contest. Thanks again to everyone who took the time to participate-your interest means more than I can convey here.
I'm gearing up for a big year, The Gilded Age is fast approaching and I'm participating in some amazing events in Long Beach and Austin as well, more info to come. Also, keep your eyes trained to @thevacvvm - exciting things in the works to say the least.

Abuse, enamel on steel, 1998. This abandoned building just outside Atlanta was toxic to the point of being radioactive. I chose the open air for painting this quick three color workout but still shaved weeks off my earthly tenure just standing on that sour soil. According to @toprotectandsever this rusted cathedral has since fallen victim to the condominium blight which is creeping across the south like so much invasive kudzu.
