pen pals. back in the day when my wife and I were dating we would write letters to eachother and she would usually draw little pictures on the bottom about 1"X1" in size. One time I took the little drawing she did of herself and I (she was writing a letter while in class) and I turned it into a large 18x24" screenprint that I hand pulled myself. I actually sold some without her knowing which was pretty cool since she isn't one to dabble in the arts. Little did we know this collab would turn into three works of art we would produce titled "crazy ass kids".
"3-2-1, 1-2-3 what the heck is bothering me" - Carl Winslow. Found this while touring a school for my kids and thought we actually need to have these posted for people all around the world. ✌🏽❤️😊
UPDATE IT'S TAKEN. Within 25 minutes not bad! Thanks for the hustle! ✊🏽🙏🏽✊🏽
three hours of process for @popaustin. As much as I'm not a fan of doing live painting I am aware that the act of watching a painting come to life can be interesting to watch. I'll never forget the time I got to see @dozegreen paint at 111 minna in SF years ago it was the best (thanks for signing my poster!). Thank you to Nathaniel Muniz for helping me cover up the drips that took just as long as it did to paint the wall haha.
"this is the remix" in my puff daddy 90's era voice. Thank you again Lana and Steve for curating @popaustin your team was amazing. To the strangers I met over the weekend thanks for the stories, late night back yard BBQ, Texas sake, breakfast at Joe's and laughs. Until next time Austin! ✊🏽✌🏽✊🏽
