PT sessions with uncle @richiegrich. This is their and my first time on Ocean Beach. Crazy to think that after 14 years living here I finally made it. Came to fly a kite but the winds gods weren't on our side so climbing dunes it is.
Today's words are "classic" and "yellow". Can you guess the year and make of this car?
This image isn't much to look at but it's one of the most important things I keep around. Around 2004/5 I was at a point in my life where I had no idea what I was going to do as far as making my dream a reality and staying in SF after graduating school. I had zero money to my name and my wife (GF at the time) was in the same position all we had in common was that we did not want to go back home after school. She surprised me by mailing me the last of the change she had left and it blew my mind. I told myself I would never open this money wrapped in foil and that same weekend I found a gob (actually two!). I understand that this is not a life or death and many of you have it, or have had it worse. But a conversation I had with a younger artist recently forced me to share this he was 21 and said he wanted to be self employed by next year. As that could easily happen for him I told him don't feel bad doing whatever he can to get by. Just because you consider yourself an artist doesn't mean you have to only work in that field. Stick to your hearts desire and get by however you can but just stay creating. Don't become a self employed artist/creative because you want to, do it because you have to. Sorry for all the words just had to get off my chest. ✊💂
for yall. Anyone remember these by @kinseyvisual. I have wanted to take this sticker every time I see it but have left it here over the years.
Couldn't have said ✌️better myself. Just got the news that my mural is long gone and ready for the next artist in line. @patbailey thank you for the awesome pic. It was fun while it lasted, and all of you who went out of your way to take a photograph with my @acehotel mural thank you for the love and memories.
Received a surprise visit from my little dudes. I had to let them get busy as you can see from the marks on wall below. I stopped and took a break as soon as I finished the one second to the right. As a result from their marks made I completed the last painting. Thanks for the inspiration and if and when it sells it will go to your piggy bank. Haha.
