Will be leaving these two paintings somewhere around SF today. Stay tuned!
Hats off to Carole Shorenstein Hays and the @sf_curran team. Carole is one of the coolest and bravest people I have had the pleasure of working with. After standing side by side with her to greet the guests for the opening night as I watched her talk she reminded me to always have fun while working and whenever you are taking big risks to just smile and get the job done. An article about the project came out in the paper today so I called my brother to tell him the big news and share my excitement about the project. He said to me "You know like I told you long ago just keep doing what you do and everyone is going to keep respecting your work. Just think back when they told you that your work wouldn't make it, now look". When the people closest to you are the ones doubting you it's really hard to follow your dream but It's moments like this that make me feel I made the right decision.
These two pumpkin heads. I have no idea how my wife pulls off these projects alone with three kids. But if Too $hort saw a Grandma drop it low with a baby in her arm I guess anything is possible. Hahah I need to step up my game.
