Very honored to have my art on display @nike WHQ's newest building - the NYC Garage.
Flashback to my early days: way before being into graffiti and hip hop, I had an early interest into basketball. As a kid growin up in the 90's, what sparkled my interest in hoops - beyond the game - was the attitude, the competition, the aesthetic and Style. So when I was asked to translate these elements in my own artistic languages, this brought me back to my childhood's first love and made me think of the infamous Jordan poster with the streetball scenery. I decided to reinterprate this image with my own twist and language while paying hommage to some of the best hoops legends NY street courts has ever known. This is how a picture that hung on my wall for years could influence me and finally
full circle. Thank you Nike for makin' me feel like a kid again!
