For us 80's kids Stars Wars was more than a movie, it was a religion, one which we still follow to this day. I will get excited over the trailers, watch every movie release (regardless of quality or reviews) and stray to the toy section of a department store to reminisce about why the old figurines are still way better than what they have today. Been a while since I drew or painted anything Star Wars related, so here's a portion of an older commission to celebrate
This week we lost one of our first friends here in the city of Detroit. Although Miya and I didn't know Jordan for long, he was a friend to us from day one and a talented artist who helped me achieve some of my proudest work. He was a king of bold letters, humble words and a mentor to many.
Our thoughts are with his family & those closest to him. 🙏🏻 Thanks for the time we had together mate, may you Rest In Peace.
** Today we are holding a light of hope for our friend TEAD and our thoughts are with his close friends & family. Stay strong & stay with us mate...

It's no wonder I'm becoming more of a hippie with age, here's my parents at their wedding in 1976! Major hair goals ;)
Sharing this for no particular reason today other than it's awesome and I love you the most. Thanks for being so proud & supportive of your sons vagabond life xo
Details for the 'Unity' side of my 360 degree interactive mural painted in the @fwmoa for the 'JUXTAPOZED' exhibition at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art, presented by @thinkspace_art and @coprogallery last week.
I included a QR code in my artist statement so that museum attendees can access the animation right then and there.
Visit the link in my bio for more info and final shots of both murals!
My painting 'People in glass houses...' now on view at the @fwmoa. 36 x 36" aerosol & acrylic on wood.
**Now sold into the Museums permanent collection.
This piece is inspired by duality; i.e. The beauty & tragedy we experience within our own life cycle and our effect on the natural world around us.
Painted & exhibited as part of the Juxtapozed group show curated by @thinkspace_art @coprogallery @juxtapozmag in conjunction with the amazing 'Slang Aesthetics' Robert Williams retrospective.
(Shout out to @chejka for custom making this sweet wood panel for me to paint on!)
