"Older Brother" @martinsisro
This work is an example of how doors are closed and others are opened. This canvas was a commission for a family who had asked me to portray their children. I started with the older brother, I was very happy with the face I liked his expression and that intermediate moment from be young to an adult. When the work was finished I sent the photo to the father, he didn't like it. I felt shocked and disappointed with myself. I remember posted this picture that week and PLAM !, suddenly one of the guys that I admire in this scene asks me about the painting and from there I start working with him @studiocromie

"Naturaleza Contemporánea III" oil and acrylic on linen (2017). Still life, is a type of artwork that represents animals, flowers and other objects, which can be natural (fruits, food, plants, rocks or shells) or made by man. Still lifes, particularly before 1700, often contained a religious and allegorical symbolism in relation to the objects they represented. In this work I focus on the symbolic relationship of these objects in the contemporary present and their own contradictions as religion / technology as well as the phallic relationship between fruits and vegetables.

"Naturaleza muerta contemporánea IV" oil and acrylic on linen 50x80 cm (2017). After several exercises with this composition I have reached the result that maybe I like the most. This was due to a contest where they set the size of the work to be delivered, as my work did not fit those parameters I decided to paint it this way.
