"I will lift my eyes to the mountains;
From where comes my help?"
The tragedy of Sunday night saddens and frightens me. When we realize the fragility of life and the brokenness of humanity, it is so easy to feel desperate, alone and helpless.
In those moments, I must remember that this world and those in it are not my hope. I must look to the mountains that tower into the heavens, and remember that from thence comes my help. A God who can make the mountains is my help. He alone is my hope and salvation. My refuge and hiding place.

I have the best Nana in the world. Wish I could have been with her on her birthday today, but this last weekend's visit was one I wouldn't have traded for anything. Happy Birthday Nana!
It's been a whirlwind weekend. So happy to be able to visit my Nana in Ft. Myers.
